Robby Rae is an avid home automater whose house is filled with smart technology. He currently has five cameras, fifty five light bulbs, nine motion sensors, six televisions, a thermostat, a garage door, and two door locks integrated into his setup.
As someone moves throughout the home, both inside and outside, the lights automatically turn on when needed and turn off after a set amount of time. The system creates a seamless and efficient experience that reflects his love for technology and innovation.
It all began with a simple wish from his wife, who once said she wished the lights would automatically turn on when she walked downstairs. That moment sparked Robby’s passion for home automation, eventually transforming their home into a fully connected smart environment.
Robby Rae’s greatest passion has always been the game of baseball. He fell in love with the sport as a child and that love has stayed with him throughout his life. He enjoyed playing in his younger years, then later returned to the same diamonds to coach his son. Robby often says he was a good ballplayer, but an even better coach.
To him, baseball is more than a sport. It is a way of life that teaches discipline, patience, and consistency. He often explains that we must practice the good in order to make it permanent.
Robby is still in contact with several of the kids he coached, and seeing the adults they have become fills him with pride. Knowing he played even a small role in their lives remains one of his most meaningful accomplishments.
